The Wisdom of Women
​Women of the East and the West. Monastics held by ancient lineages, laywomen, mothers.
Walking unseen paths, carving new ones. They change the world in ways that can't be measured. They invite us to look inward with fierce tenderness, to cross thresholds with open hearts and to go through the darkness and come out on the other side.

Chanting mantras, dancing with our shadows, and falling, again and again, in love with silence.
You’ll find them in temples, gardens, city streets, woods, convents, and mountain caves.
They guide with presence—sometimes through sacred texts, sometimes on the wind—drifting beyond time, walking on the waters of life, bringing the good news:

My Story
2023 — LISTENING FOR THE FIRST TIME

Women Awakening Project began in 2023 with a simple, radical gesture: listening.
In the foothills of the Himalayas, I began meeting women teachers and practitioners, allowing their voices to shape the direction of the project.
STORY
2024 — FOLLOWING THE VOICES
​
As the project grew, so did the journey.
From India to Italy, France, and the United States, Women Awakening Project unfolded as a constellation of conversations across cultures, traditions, and lived experiences.
2025 — GIVING FORM TO WHAT WAS RECEIVED
​
Years of listening, walking, and witnessing began to settle into form.
The first Italian edition of Donne che Esplorano il Divino was published.
2026 — A LIVING PROJECT
​
Today, Women in Love with the Divine is released in its English edition, meeting readers and practitioners worldwide.
At the same time, the Women Awakening Project continues as a living space — through writing, interviews, and shared contemplative practice.
The project is still unfolding.
About the Founder
I’m Erica Bassani, a writer and guide devoted to exploring the meeting point between spiritual practice, embodied listening, and the feminine experience of the sacred.
Through writing, interviews, and shared contemplative spaces, my work invites a return to softness as a source of clarity, strength, and connection.

Women Awakening Project is an extension of this listening — and an invitation to continue the journey together.
